The obliques are the ab muscles on your sides! And these crunches target those muscles. The bonus is that you'll be working those outter thighs at the same time! SWEET! Lay on your side with the bottom hand wrapped around your stomach and your top hand behind your head. Bottom leg can be bent and top leg is somewhat straight. Crunch the upper body up without pulling on your neck at the same time you bring up the top leg. Think about squeezing the shoulder to the hip. Where your hand lies is where you should feel the squeeze if done properly! Check out the video for proper form.
